Really great breathing app. Does the job simply and effectively. Gives you all the info you need and why you should practice these excercises and the benefits.
This app presents long deep breathing in a very simple and effective way. I find it extremely useful for "calming". This app is easy to understand, experience and use--sometimes "less" is more!
Long Deep Breathing is a classic yogic breathing technique and this app presents Long Deep Breathing in a very accessible form. I particularly appreciate the option to set the duration of each breath...as you practice, you can challenge yourself every few sessions to breath more and more slowly. This is something that is harder to track without the App! Very useful...
This is a highly effective application that installed effortlessly and is just as easy to use. The science is sound and this App makes helping to improve ones health easy to routinely perform. I highly recommend this App to anyone wishing to improve their respiratory capacity.
I use this daily in my sitting practice and for short breaks from work. Very easy way to remember to focus on my breath.
I love this app--it really helps me relax, unwind, and transition from one event to the next. Its especially helpful after Ive been stuck in traffic. After just a few minutes, it helps me re-center myself and have a positive attitude. The audio is calming and the graphics are top notch. The whole application is very simple to use. Well worth it!
very satisfied keep up
Not worth a dollar.
Difficult to relax with someone talking, and impossible with the high-pitched chime! You have to stare at the screen in order to know how long you are inhaling/exhaling, and the customizable settings--I have no idea what I am doing! Id look at other deep breathing apps...
Im new to proper breathing/meditation, and having something simple I can follow along (the visuals are great) helps train me. I imagine that soon Ill be able to do this on my own, with the conditioning this app gives me. To the other posters commenting on the voice and chimes - you can turn those off if you prefer silence and just visuals.
A simple, elegantly designed tool that can really make a difference in ones health and well-being. The interface is gorgeous. I love this app and never fail to feel refreshed and restored when Ive used it. Thank you!
Simple, useful app , but at every relaunch I have to turn off the tone setting.
Nice simple timer style app. Has a bug though- it will not save settings when shut down, at least on a 4th gen iPod Touch.
This is the best deep breathing tool I have found on the App Store. I use it three times a day for 10 to 15 min.s and have experienced amazing results!
I like this App. Ive tried others but found this to be the easiest and least intrusive (i.e. talking). Id like to save the settings between settings and Id like to be able to change the sound & volume within the Ap
Im a psychotherapist and I find this app to be awesome for both personal and professional use. It is a quick, easy, user friendly app that essentially gives people a tool for deep relaxation and healing that they can carry in their pocket. THANKS SO MUCH and Sat Nam to all.
This app is part of my daily meditation and relaxation ritual. Ive also used it prior to stressful medical appointments and to prepare myself for challenging days at work. The option of saving my customized settings would make this app rate 5 stars. Having to enter breathe durations and advanced settings every time I use the app adds an element of stress that seems counterproductive. I look forward to an update that will address this issue.
Love it ! Easy to use and practice anywhere.
The app is great - its clean and very simple and does what it is supposed to do (aside from the lost settings issue that other people have identified, but even that is manageable.) There are also some great breathing instructions in the info section, that give you ways to use the timer most effectively. My only issue with it is that I found the sound of the chime to be quite piercing and I had to stop using the app because it was ding-ding-dinging in my ear and getting me more wound up, rather than relaxed. Also, it is the same note for breathing in and breathing out, so if I got lost, I had to open my eyes and look at the screen Id suggest having some optional sounds, and some really mellow choices - two single notes plucked on a guitar, or two long cello tones, one going up and one coming down. No rainstorms or cricket fests or buzzers...the point is to be relaxed. Thanks for a good app otherwise
